Terms of Service
Play free. Be decent. LOCK IN is training practice. It is not a safety certification or real-world advice, and it does not replace your employer's training. There are no player accounts. Instructors make crews on a free dashboard; a license adds the CSV export and removes the 9-person limit. F‑Keys makes no guarantees, and its liability is limited.
Acceptance
By using the LOCK IN simulator or the trailer-load.com website (the "Service"), you agree to these Terms of Service, an agreement with F‑Keys Creative LLC ("F‑Keys"), and to the Privacy Policy. If you do not agree, do not use the Service. If you use the Service on behalf of an organization, you represent that you are authorized to bind that organization.
The Service
LOCK IN is a freight-loading training simulator. It is free to use. There are no player accounts. Optional features include signing a public board with three initials, joining an instructor's crew, and, for instructors, a dashboard that shows the results of the people on their crews. F‑Keys may add, change, or remove features over time.
Training Supplement · Not Certification
Instructor Accounts
The instructor is the only account in LOCK IN. If you create one, you are responsible for its credentials and for activity under it. Provide an email address you control, keep your password secure, and notify F‑Keys of unauthorized use. F‑Keys may suspend or terminate accounts or crews that violate these Terms. You may ask F‑Keys to delete your account, with its crews, at any time by emailing privacy@trailer-load.com. An instructor account with no sign-in for 24 months is deleted (except while it runs a licensed crew), as the Privacy Policy describes.
Acceptable Use
You agree not to: (a) attempt to access data you are not authorized to access; (b) probe, scan, or breach security or authentication; (c) submit false data to manipulate dashboards or leaderboards; (d) use the Service to harass, harm, or impersonate others; (e) reverse engineer, resell, or redistribute the Service except as permitted; or (f) use the Service unlawfully.
Crews & Licenses
An instructor account can make crews and give out each crew's join code. A person joins with that code and then a name and a 4-digit PIN, or a personal code the instructor issued, and keeps the PIN or code private. A free crew holds up to 9 people. Its instructor sees, on the dashboard, the results each person's device sent while it was on the crew. Each session's timed move log is stored with it and is not shown on the dashboard. A license removes the 9-person limit and adds the CSV export, a signed data agreement, purchase orders and invoices, and support. Licenses are sold to schools, training programs, and employers under a separate order or agreement. An instructor who invites people to a crew is responsible for any notice and consent the law requires for them, including for any minor. Instructors and facilities agree to use crew data solely for training and instruction, to comply with applicable student-data-privacy and employment laws, not to use it for hiring, placement or other employment decisions, and not to use it to unlawfully discriminate. Pricing, term, and data-handling commitments are set out in the applicable order or agreement. If a signed agreement with a school, program or employer conflicts with these Terms or the Privacy Policy, the signed agreement controls for that organization.
Fees, Renewal & Refunds
The simulator is free and always will be. Each facility dashboard license runs for 12 months from a start date you choose, such as the first day of your school year or grant period; per-student seats are priced per student, per semester. Licenses are quoted in advance and are invoiced against your purchase order net‑30 or paid by card. Licenses do not auto‑renew. F‑Keys contacts you before a term ends; a lapsed license stops, with no penalty and no automatic charge. If you cancel within 30 days of the start of a term and your program has not used the dashboard, F‑Keys refunds in full. After 30 days, fees for the current term are non‑refundable, but your access continues through the term you paid for. Prices published on trailer‑load.com are the prices F‑Keys honors for the term quoted, and a Founding Program rate is held for as long as you renew without a lapse. Either party may terminate for convenience at the end of a term on written notice; F‑Keys may suspend access for non‑payment or for a breach of Acceptable Use after giving you notice and a reasonable chance to cure.
Intellectual Property
The Service, including its code, design, text, graphics, and the LOCK IN mark, is owned by F‑Keys Creative LLC and protected by intellectual-property laws. F‑Keys grants you a limited, revocable, non-exclusive, non-transferable license to use the Service for its intended purpose. You may not copy, modify, distribute, or create derivative works except as expressly permitted.
Your Data
How F‑Keys handles personal information is described in the Privacy Policy, which is incorporated into these Terms. You retain your rights over your data as described there; you grant F‑Keys the limited rights needed to operate the Service, to show initials you sign on a board, and to show a crew's instructor the results its members send.
Disclaimers
THE SERVICE IS PROVIDED "AS IS" AND "AS AVAILABLE," WITHOUT WARRANTIES OF ANY KIND, EXPRESS OR IMPLIED, INCLUDING MERCHANTABILITY, FITNESS FOR A PARTICULAR PURPOSE, ACCURACY, AND NON-INFRINGEMENT. F‑Keys does not warrant that the Service will be uninterrupted, error-free, or that its training content is complete or suitable for any particular real-world task.
Limitation of Liability
TO THE MAXIMUM EXTENT PERMITTED BY LAW, F‑KEYS CREATIVE LLC WILL NOT BE LIABLE FOR ANY INDIRECT, INCIDENTAL, SPECIAL, CONSEQUENTIAL, OR PUNITIVE DAMAGES, OR FOR LOST PROFITS OR DATA, ARISING FROM OR RELATED TO YOUR USE OF THE SERVICE. F‑KEYS CREATIVE LLC'S TOTAL LIABILITY FOR ANY CLAIM RELATED TO THE SERVICE WILL NOT EXCEED THE GREATER OF (A) THE AMOUNT YOU PAID F‑KEYS CREATIVE LLC FOR THE SERVICE IN THE 12 MONTHS BEFORE THE CLAIM, OR (B) USD $100. Some jurisdictions do not allow certain limitations, so some of these may not apply to you.
Indemnity
You agree to indemnify and hold harmless F‑Keys Creative LLC from claims arising out of your misuse of the Service, your violation of these Terms, or your violation of any law or the rights of another.
Governing Law
These Terms are governed by the laws of the State of Florida, USA, without regard to conflict-of-laws rules. Disputes will be brought in the state or federal courts located in Florida, and you consent to their jurisdiction, except where applicable law gives you the right to bring a claim elsewhere.
Changes
F‑Keys may update these Terms as the Service evolves. Material changes will be reflected in the "Last updated" date and, where appropriate, announced in the simulator. Continued use after changes means you accept the updated Terms.
